Learn about Coffee and FAQ

Stay tuned to learn about various roasts, tools, and what grinds are best for your favorite brewing method.

How much coffee should you order?

We recommend purchasing however much fresh roasted coffee is needed for around 14 days.

While coffee technically never expires, it does lose it's flavor and freshness.

Coffee reaches its peak flavor in 5-14 days after roast and will start declining after.

Most store bought coffee will be 4-12 months old with a best by date of 12, 18 or 24 months.

Drip Grind - Great for traditional and modern drip coffee makers.

Coarse Grind - Coarse grind is great for french press and cold brew due to these preparation methods requiring longer time to extract the flavor from the beans.

Espresso Grind - Finely ground for espresso.

Whole Bean - Great for the coffee connoisseur who prefers to grind their own beans to their liking. Also helps preserve the flavor of the beans for longer.

Pods - We refer to K Style Cups as pods which can be used in your coffee maker that supports the pods/cups.

The coffee for each pod is roasted and packed when the order is received.  The pods are made from recyclable material including a recyclable foil lid.

Our coffee is available in 12oz, 16oz, and 5lb bags.
